Mack, Mack is a 7-8 year old male, ~65 lb sable and white collie that makes friends wherever he goes. Mack was found by a Good Samaritan and when attempts to find his owner were unsuccessful she called Houston Collie Rescue. He is great on a leash, even with his limited sight. He navigates stairs and other obstacles with ease, once you help him one time. He loves to meet and greet people and is very gentle around children of all ages. One of his foster mom's favorite experiences with Mack was watching him make friends with a young boy. At first, the child was hesisitant, but he didn't want to say goodbye after interacting with Mack for a few minutes. Mack gets along well with other dogs, as well, and is housebroken. He is very well behaved in the house and is a loyal companion. The groomers have commented on how good he is when he brushed out. Mack likes to be with his foster mom and follows her around the house. He makes wonderful funny doggie sounds and loves a good rub down. Won't you consider giving this loving, mellow guy his own forever home?
