They say black dogs typically DIE here! Is that what is going to happen to me tomorrow?

Harris County TX CODE RED DIES 9/14 Johnny was picked up as a stray and hauled into this high kill shelter. No family came for him and he is now euth listed. A big black senior dog who is skinny, HW+, not neutered and skin issues is a death sentence. Please share Johnny and donate to help defray his medical costs so a rescue can afford to tag him! He is OUT OF TIME!!

9/13 PM-🆘🆘 Johnny was NOT extended and is on the EUTHANASIA LIST for tomorrow morning!! Only a foster and rescue can save him now!! Please comment if you can foster!!!

9/13 AM-Johnny is URGENT TODAY!! If he doesn’t get a hold by 5:30pm, he’s at great risk to be PUT TO SLEEP tomorrow morning!! Rescues need donations and fosters in order to tag so please donate or offer to foster Johnny!

Oh sweet boy, if only you could talk, what would you tell us? This poor guy is “Johnny” and just look at his eyes; he’s practically begging for our help. 😭 Johnny is an 8 year old stray picked up in zipcode 77086. He was picked up with a friend, but that dog has an adoption hold.

Whatever Johnny’s situation was, it was not good. He’s not neutered, he’s heartworm positive, his skin is bad and he’s so SKINNY! This boy needs groceries ASAP! Can you please DONATE so a rescue can tag him and afford his vetting? We need to change Johnny’s life for the better. This sweet boy deserves a chance.

If you cannot foster or adopt, please consider donating. 100% goes directly to the rescue that saves him once freedom photos are posted in the comments for everyone to see. If he isn’t saved for ANY reason, your donation is REFUNDED IN FULL! Just say it is for Johnny in the notes while checking out.
